These medium sized bags work well for picking up my 20lb pup's wastes. I really dislike bags without tie-handles and was originally looking for a biodegradable one but found that alot of the ones I saw were either too expensive or didn't have tie-handles. So I went with these and so far I can't really say that I regret my decision. Granted I feel pretty guilty that they're probably going to sit in some landfill for 200 years but they come folded in a neat stack so you don't have to rip any perforated rolls which could accidentally leave you with a tear or a hole in your bag and the bags have this obnoxious scent that helps mask the inevitable stench of poop you encounter while picking up after your dog.It does concern me however that the bag feels a little thinner than the green ones they supply at the park near my house. But I've yet to have any issues with the bags ripping or anything while using them and sometimes I even rip some grass out of the lawn with them when things get messy.I'll probably try some environmentally friendly bags next time but these ones have worked great so far.New York City, where I use this excellent product, has expensive fines for not picking up after your pet. But that is not why our streets are clean. New Yorkers love their city and their affection shows in the corner garbage cans filled with little plastic poop bags.Highly educated and financially successful business people and awarded scientists all meet in the dog run and discuss arcane things like pervert politicians and dog poop. The "Clean Go" bags are designed to be easily closed tightly so that when they sit in the garbage can in the heat for many hours, no flies, no odor. Other bags with flat across the top closing must be made much larger to accomodate various individual tying methodsMy praise is not for this specific brand, although I am very happy with it. My praise is for the design which many other companies take advantage of.I love these. all the bags I have purchased for years before were always very difficult to get open (since they lay flat or on roll). These slide open very easily so if I forget to open them before heading out its no big deal.. All other bags were difficult to get open when i was controlling two or three dogs. The bags are scented enough to not smell the waste but not overpowering. They are strong enough that I never had a single one break during the first entire box. I liked them so well I ordered another box of them alreadyMan I got theese poop bags and all was good in the world. Sadly I was wrong. The other night in the evening my dog pooped right over some one elses dog poop and I ended up picking it up. There is so much that is wrong with that its hard to describe. The others poop was cold while my dogs poop was warm. Then I think I buy bags to pick up my dogs poop why arent theese folks doing the same. It just totally sucks to be a good dog owner and not many are.Hey folks, is it just me? Or do other people actually like to carry around (and see others carry) clear bags of dog poop? OK, these aren't quite clear; in fact, a whole stack of them looks opaque blue. But no; you can easily read a newspaper through one bag thickness. (To be fair, this is a common problem with pick-up bags.) Bag makers everywhere: Let's have some poop pick-up bags that are not see-through! And the scent is unnecessary. Otherwise, these bags are quite good for their purpose. They seem to be sturdy, and they're not too thin. Not including the handles, they are about 6 inches wide and 10 inches long, which is a good size. I expect to buy more of them in the future. As others mentioned (and I should have heeded), the handles on these poop bags are shorter than they should be, making them a bit hard to manage, especially with gloves on. But single-handedly managing two dogs on flexi-leashes with gloves on is also challenging, so maybe I just need to move someplace warmer ;)Seriously, though, these bags are sturdy without being too thick and stiff, and do the job nicely. They're especially good for the price, which is one of the best I've seen. The scent is very subtle, but face it, poop stinks, and even the finest cologne ain't gonna mask that. They are not scented like the advertisement said.I actually use this for scooping out my cat's litter box daily. The size is perfect and since California has banned plastic bags from markets, this is what I resorted to and I'm glad I did. I didn't want to waste trash bags just to collect daily leavings from the litter box. My one complaint is that I can't smell the "floral smell" the box claimed it had. It's not a deal-breaker though. It works for what I need. These bags are a good size for a larger hand. I have never had one that split open and I use many of them because we have two dogs who are walked 3 times a day.
