I'm not a doctor. This is not medical advice. I take chanca piedra because I have renal tubular acidoscis--I get a bunch of kidney stones all the time. Mine are calcium oxalate. Does this prevent stones? I don't think so. Does this "break stones"? That's debatable. Does it relieve pain and internal swelling? I'm gonna say no. However, I can honestly say that the stones pop out from my bladder much more easily when I take chanca piedra on a regular basis. You can get it in tincture or pills, too, but the tea is pretty good. I'll also suggest gravel root, but talk to your doctor first. I mean, if you;re looking at this product, you've had a stone. If you've had a stone, you probably have a urologist. check with them first.
