It is on the smaller sideI've put the received item next to last year's backpack (8 year old, so it's just average size) this item is absolutely not as pictured or described. The pockets, water bottle holder, inside, side etc. For example I have a 4.9oz can of hairspray in the dragon ball bag and it barely fits. The old backpack is holding a 20oz soda bottle. The new item came with a broken zipper pull as well and you can totally see how cheap & poorly made it looks. They emailed for photo evidence so 'they could be reimbursed by the manufacturer' but only 'partially refunded' me, which is pretty whack.. Upon trying to promptly respond to their message they're suddenly unable /not accepting the chat anymore... So... Pretty shady. My kid had to use his old backpack for a week until a different new one he wanted came in (I know that sounds like a "first world problem", but we get new clothes m, shoes and bags to start the new school year and this whole situation was disappointing, upsetting and over all a huge joke. Eff these people and/or the company.I bought the backpack and immediately I knew it was a bait and switch as the backpack I received was nothing with what the pictures showed. The actual backpack was made of low-quality materials and fell apart quickly.Disappointed
